CreativeMynds Project is a creative arts production company focused on using various forms of performance art to inspire creativity in our audiences. Each project is a collaborative effort of urban artists bringing together our individual talents with the ultimate goal of sharing our art. Through our exploration and development of various projects, specifically theatre, film, and visual arts, we are committed to producing unique work that tells the story and provokes emotion and thought from our audiences, while also creating a platform and an opportunity for artists to express their work.
Creative Missions: We Work. We Play. We Create.
We produce with the hope to inspire, we tell our stories with bubbling passion. We put it all together and create art.
We Learn. We Share. We Give Back.
As we develop, our intention is to inspire change and raise awareness in the areas of creativity and self-expression for urban youth who would otherwise not be exposed to, or have hands-on experience in the arts. We strive to create this platform of exploration through educational workshops and outreach events – providing not only the opportunity and resources to young artists, but also providing a little inspiration and encouragement to learn new disciplines and explore the realm of creativity.
Creative Mynds Project, LLC is a sponsored project of Fractured Atlas, a non-profit arts service organization. Contributions for the purposes of Creative Mynds Project, LLC must be made payable to Fractured Atlas and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
We hope that you will support and engage in our projects, and most of all we hope that you enjoy our work!
Born and raised in New York City, Cristina Torres is an actor, singer, writer and producer. She is a recent graduate of the William Esper Studio where she was trained in the Meisner Technique, under the direction of Terry Knickerbocker.
Coming from a family of artists, Cristina has been writing for as early as she could hold a pencil in her hand, dreaming and creating for as long as she can remember. At a younger age, she was trained in the violin and piano. Eager to express and explore her artistic desires, she traveled around the world writing about her experiences with the different cultures. Shortly thereafter, she studied in an ashram and earned her certification in Yoga to deepen her understanding of the Indian culture and philosophy and to be able to translate that knowledge and practice to her artistic work.
Cristina spent a few years in the finance world, realizing pretty early on that she was uninspired and turned her sights back to the creative life, this time in acting and producing. In 2006, she applied to and was accepted to the esteemed William Esper Studio and has been performing and producing ever since.
